PLAYER INFORMATION

FORMAT:
36 holes of foursomes stroke play. 18 holes will be played each day. During each round, partners must play alternately from the teeing areas (i.e. Player A must tee off on the odd holes, Player B must tee off on all the even holes). Players may reverse this order on the second day of play; however they are not required to do so.
REGISTRATION:
There will be no formal registration at this event.
STARTING TIMES AND PAIRINGS:
Starting times and pairings will be e-mailed to players and posted online at scga.org one week in advance of the tournament. Starting times will range from 8 a.m. to approximately 10 a.m. both days.
Players are encouraged to arrive at their assigned tee well in advance of their starting time, as the SCGA starter will have information to discuss and distribute to each player in the group. Furthermore, players arriving late will be penalized under Rule 5.3a of the Rules of Golf. For example, the 9:00 a.m. starting time is defined as 9:00:00, and players arriving after that time are considered late. Lead groups should plan to be at their assigned tee 10 minutes in advance of their starting time. Subsequent groups are encouraged to arrive in time to watch the group in front of them tee off.
PRACTICE ROUNDS:
Players may make arrangements for practice rounds at their own expense. To book a practice round, call the Soboba Springs golf shop at (951) 654-4300. Practice rounds may be booked at any time after 10 a.m. and on a space available basis. Green fee: $45 per player including cart and range. Players must identify themselves as participants in the SCGA Foursomes Championship to receive this special rate.
TEES AND YARDAGES:
All sides will play from the SCGA tee markers. Course Rating: 72.6 / Slope: 132 / approx. 6,773 yards / Par 72.

DRIVING RANGE:
The driving range will be open by 7:00 a.m. on both days of the championship. Range balls will be provided compliments of Soboba Springs and the SCGA. Range balls can be obtained in the golf shop.
FOOD SERVICE AND PURCHASES:
The restaurant will be open from 7:00 a.m. until the conclusion of play. Cash and major credit cards will be accepted for all purchases. The SCGA will host a luncheon in the Grand Ballroom for players only immediately following play on Thursday only.
HOTEL INFORMATION:
Soboba Casino Resort has provided a limited number of rooms with a discounted rate of $85+ fees for players. Please call the resort at (951) 654-4300 and identify yourself as a SCGA championship player to secure the rate. Group ID code is 820.
RULES OF PLAY:
- The Rules of Golf as approved by the USGA and The R&A govern play;

AUTOMOTIVE TRANSPORTATION / PULL CARTS & PUSH CARTS:
Carts are included as part of the championship fee. There will be a maximum of three carts per group and two bags per cart. Drivers must be at least 16 years of age (or older if club policy dictates). Each player is entitled to one seat in a cart. If a player brings a caddie, the caddie may ride provided there is a vacant seat in one of the carts. Otherwise, either the player or the caddie must walk. Pull carts and push carts are allowed.
CADDIES & SPECTATORS:
Players may provide their own caddie (See section on Automotive Transportation). Caddies must adhere to the dress code listed in section below. Spectators are permitted but are not allowed in carts. Spectators must adhere to all policies set forth by the club.
DRESS CODE:
Players and caddies must be properly attired in golf shirts, slacks, Bermuda-length dress or golf shorts and soft spike shoes. Jeans (any color or any kind), T-shirts and tank tops will not be permitted. Shirts must be tucked in and hats are to be worn forward at all times.
CANCELLATIONS:
To withdraw for any reason prior to the start of an SCGA competition, a player must notify the SCGA Championships & Golf Operations Department at (818) 980-3630, or by clicking here. If a player needs to withdraw on the morning of the event, notify the SCGA staff person through the golf shop staff at the host venue. Failure to notify the SCGA will subject the player to suspension from future SCGA competitions. Requests for refunds prior to the entry closing date will be honored less a $10 administrative fee. Requests received after the entry closing date and 48 hours prior to the event will be honored less 50% of the entry fee. No refunds will be honored within 48 hours of the event.
